Extra Phase 1 Refurb Notes

The Seas with Nemo and Friends
- In Phase 1, The Seas with Nemo and Friends remains relatively the same, riding the success of Finding Dory and the new interest in the franchise. However, in Phase 2, a potential overhaul to the theme is in the works, removing the IP from the name of the Pavilion and exploring the depths of the oceans in a way that not just reverts back to the original message of The Living Seas, but also is family-friendly and entertaining. Stay tuned in the future.

The Land
- In Phase 1, The Land also remains the same, except for a new pain job on the interior. With the recent addition of Soarin' Over the World, this pavilion is popular enough and the Board of Directors felt that there were other pavilions in Epcot that were in much more need of attention than this pavilion. However, in Phase 2, as the nuance of Soarin' Over the World fades, more attention could be given to this Pavilion to update some of its contents, notably The Circle of Life.

Festival Pavilion
- In Phase 1, the former Wonders of Life pavilion will remain the same. Budget cuts and a decision to instead go with the Space Pavilion halted any sort of major overhaul of this pavilion. Given that its operation as a festival pavilion during Epcot's Flower and Garden/Food and Wine Festivals is a success and a minor budget hit, the Board of Directors decided to focus their attention to other places. Perhaps in Phase 2, future plans could come to this pavilion.
