With the opening of Hong Kong Disneyland's second theme park, Disney's Seven Wonders, going up by the park's 25 anniversary, the Board of Directors have decided to approve the construction of an additional resort on site to accommodate the influx of guests to come. Thus, Disney's Amazon Springs Resort, a first of its kind, expansive moderate resort, has been green-lit.
